
Founded by the iconic (and eponymous) designer in 1972, Diane von Furstenberg was re-launched in 1997, and has since has grown into a global luxury lifestyle brand with a complete collection of ready-to-wear, swim, accessories, jewelry, watches, footwear and handbags. In 2007, Media-Hive worked with DVF to re-launch their e-commerce storefront using ATG’s OnDemand platform.
Working with DvF and it’s partners, we leveraged our experience with the ATG platform to create a custom, flexible and usable shopping experience that is reflective of the luxury lifestyle brand. Through semantic HTML, dynamic Flash elements, and merchandising enhancements, we were able to deliver a site which focuses on the customer experience while putting the control of the store into the hands of the merchandisers.
Ongoing support is provided to DVF through interactive projects, including search engine optimization and merchandising support. In Summer 2009, the store will be updated with enhanced social media functionality, allowing shoppers to share and discuss DVF products with their friends on a variety of social networking sites.
