While excitement brewed in the weeks prior to Apple’s Big Announcement, we all discussed (argued), predicted, sketched, and bet one another about what the best apps would do, what early adopters would use this thing for, who’d buy one first (result: all of us tied), whose kids would break the screen, etc. And we all kept coming back to one thing: what would WE use it for? True to form, the answer was: ‘probably work’.
Enter HTML Edit. While we’re not looking to reinvent the wheel, we were looking to create a simple app that does one thing well– and would allow us to productively work on the device we think will be reducing our laptop time by about 30-40%.
There’s still work to be done, enhancements and improvements to be made, but for us it’s been as much an experiment as a challenge to see what we could do within a few weeks to help make this little device more useful for yours truly.
